DapuStor Partners with Dell and Capital Online Service on Cloud Rendering
Dell, Capital Online Service and DapuStor held a meeting on May, 2022, where the three parties conducted a technical summary of the successful cooperation on cloud rendering projects and discussed the future prospects of cooperation.
Cloud rendering is an important cloud service scenario, simulating real experiences through extremely low latency, ultra-high definition display interactions. In response to the growing demand for real-time cloud rendering, cloud services vendor Capital Online Service has launched a next-generation edge computing platform designed to create a next-generation infrastructure for digital economies and industries such as AI, XR, digital twins, and cloud gaming.
As the base of the digital economy, the importance of infrastructure cannot be overstated. In this regard, Capital Online Service entered into a strategic partnership with Dell Technologies Group back in 2019. Dell provides Capital Online Service with an innovative portfolio of products and solutions ranging from edge computing to core data centers to cloud computing.
To enable efficient and elastic use of computing power for cloud rendering, Dell chose a solution from DapuStor. Due to the extremely high demand for high performance storage for cloud rendering, local devices are slow and costly to render. Dell powers Capital Online Service's cloud rendering business with DapuStor's higher performance solutions.
Innovating around the entire cloud computing architecture, DapuStor's main mass-produced products currently include the two major series of enterprise SSDs (Roealsen, Haishen) as well as the SCM SSD Xlenstor series. DapuStor's second generation SCM SSD product, Xlenstor2, launched in 2021, is a particularly high performance product. Its ultra-low latency and high endurance enhance the efficiency of the system, with a lower cache ratio to achieve better performance while being under heavy writing pressure. The SCM SSDs have become a new way of addressing high performance storage needs, powering the needs of emerging digital scenarios such as cloud rendering.
In the future, Dell, Capital Online Service and DauStor will continue to work together to explore the digital infrastructure.
